This collage of cactus and succulent plants was created from the books and botanical print collections of the Desert Botanical Garden’s Shilling Library.  Dating from the 17^th through the 19^th centuries, the collection contains many fine illustrations from some of the most important botanical books published during the period known as the Golden Age of Botanical Art.
